Welcome to the Postgraduate Creative Writing Conference website.
This year's conference was held on 10th May 2008 at the Luton Campus of the University of Bedfordshire.
Highlights of the conference included key note addresses from Prof Graeme Harper, Bangor University and the award-winning novelist Panos Karnezis. We also had a rich array of voices provided by post-graduate creative writing students and new post-doctorate writers working in a variety of genres and institutional context across the UK.
It is the hope of the conference organizers to contribute to the discussion of post-graduate creative writing in the UK. We have provided the programme for the conference and the abstracts of these speakers on this site. We also hope to provide full version of these papers as they become available.
The conference have been supported by University of Bedfordshire, the Research Institute for Media, Art and Design and Waterstones Bookstores.
